All my mandolins since the mid 1990s are a near exact copy of a 1924 Lloyd Loar mandolin that I took the back off of.  All body measurements were copied to within a thousandth of an inch.  That specific Loar mandolin was very powerful.  So all my mandolins are very powerful and this mandolin is definitely no exception.
